The Via Aemilia Scauri, the ancient Roman road which has marked the area from Piacenza to the Cote d'Azur for more than two thousand years, becomes the thread to follow to experience the history and nature of the area in an engaging game which combines an immersive walk with theater and art to discover the legend of the birth of Monferrato.

A treasure hunt to experience the Middle Ages: starting from the magnificent square of Cassine, following the trails of medieval pilgrims to the village of Castelnuovo Bormida with its fluvial castle, along the straight line of the Via Aemilia as far as Sezzadio with the small medieval Church of Santa Maria del Banno, to conclude the walk on the avenue of the Abbey of Santa Giustina which, according to legend, is the birthplace of Aleramo, the founder of Monferrato. During the nature walk, which alternates between farmland and beech, willow and poplar forests, participants will meet characters from the past. These, in addition to being the "voice" of the places, will involve the participants through puzzles and teasers to gather as many clues as possible and find the final treasure. The route will end with a moment of refreshment with the contribution of local producers and wine tasting offered by a winery of the River Road or the Aromatic Wine Road.
