Description
The Bosco delle Sorti ‘La Communa’ is a protected natural woodland oasis between the provinces of Alessandria and Asti, located between the municipalities of Alice Bel Colle, Ricaldone and Cassine, and between the municipalities of Maranzana, Bruno and Mombaruzzo. It is particularly beautiful and of great importance in terms of wildlife and nature. Our expert environmental hiking guide will tell you about the origins of this oasis (why it is called that) and will guide you to enchanting panoramic viewpoints. In Maranzana (from April to September), take a walk among the ‘babaci’, the Piedmontese term for puppets... those who have repopulated the village by telling stories and recounting characters from the past. Don't miss the Giacomo Bove Museum, dedicated to the explorer and cartographer who took part in numerous expeditions, including the search for the Northeast Passage between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans along the Strait. At the end of the tour, stop at the Strada degli Aromatici winery for a tasting.
