Guests will participate in a mushroom hunting trip led by experts in search of the rich variety of autumn mushrooms present in the forests of the Sila mountains. These include the Porcino (Boletus edulis), highly appreciated and staple ingredient in the local cuisine. The Ovulo (Amanita caesarea), Rosito (Lactarius deliciosus), Mazza di tamburo (Macrolepiota procera), and many other species are also present in large numbers.

Meet with expert personnel for hike to higher ground. Sportswear and closed shoes are recommended.
