Description

"Private Blend" is the most exclusive experience offered by one of the area's renowned wineries. A small group of friends, colleagues or wine enthusiasts becomes the heart and soul of the winery for a day, creating a completely original wine, designed according to their own tastes and ideas. The experience begins with a walk through the Quagliotta vineyard and a stop at the Big Bench where sweeping views open out over the Monferrato hills. This is followed by a guided tour of the winery, between vats, barrels and historic archive.
Then the real works begins. Guided by the oenologist, the participants taste samples drawn from the vats and barrels, discover their distinctive characteristic and potential, and experiment with different combinations, trial after trial, until they create the blend that represents them: the wine of their dreams.
From that moment on, the wine becomes a shared project between the group and the winery. Over the following months, the winery carefully looks after it, ageing it in barriques, bottling it and allowing it to rest until the right moment. Meanwhile, a personalized label is created, featuring the name of the group and each participant. Once the wine is ready, it is packaged and shipped to the members of the group: a unique, one-of-a-kind wine that tells the story of a special day spent in Monferrato, friendship and shared memories.
