Day 1

Arrive in Alfiano Natta. Visit the Art and Wine Museum where you can relive the past, following an historic exhibition connected with the local rural tradition, capturing the traces of time hidden between small and big details. A "dive" into the wine world of the past, until you reach the ageing cellars of the late 17th century which are still in use. Visit the cellars and enjoy a wine and EVO tasting. Monferrato has always been an area of olive cultivation: abandoned in favor of vines, it has been recovered and a high quality extra virgin olive oil is produced.

Day 2

Day at agriturismo dedicated to the countryside and to educational workshops for a sustainable and independent lifestyle immersed in the gently rolling hills and surrounded by a lush garden with an ancient rose garden. Besides the secrets for a "successful vegetable garden" you can choose between medicinal plant workshop, distillation workshop to obtain artisan perfumes, soap making workshop, the art of beekeeping or the care of ancient roses. Lunch included in the activity.
Dinner at leisure and overnight accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, arrive in Calliano: a trekking itinerary with our hiking guide, following dirt roads through vineyards and along hillside ridges, offering views that on clear days extend all the way to the Alps. A pocket lunch is included.
Afterwards, you'll have free time to relax by the pool (seasonal: June/September) or visit a winery to sample the area's iconic wines (Grignolino, Barbera, and Ruchè), or discover the Casorzo bialbero, a wonderful symbiosis between a mulberry tree and a cherry tree (spectacular in April and May).
Dinner at a tavern with a tasting menu... have you heard of Calliano's typical donkey agnolotti?

Day 4

Another day totally immersed in nature to discover his majesty the truffle with our expert trifolau (truffle hunters) and their tabui (truffle dogs), two magnificent lagotti with a very special nose. Each season has its truffle (autumn white, prized black winter and summer scorzone): our expert truffle hunter will explain the differences while you walk through the forests and hazelnut groves watching the dog’s every move with trepidation. A unique and unforgettable experience recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Followed by visit to winery which produces organic wine and its private infernot (ancient underground cellar dug in the local stone known as 'pietra da cantoni' ). Wine tasting accompanied by a platter of cured meats and cheeses. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.

NB truffle searching is banned by a Regulation of Regione Piemonte in May and September- the activity is carried out in private truffle grounds.

Day 5

After breakfast in Moncalvo, visit a farm with a grazing herd of Chamois goats, whose milk is used to make fresh and aged raw-milk goat cheeses. This strictly artisanal production process, where the scent of seasonal herbs makes these products unique, is a true delight.
