Day 1

Day 2

Walk through the center of Moncalvo, the smallest town in Italy. From the rampars, the last evidence of the fortified castle, you can enjoy a unique view of the surrounding landscape. A visit to the Civic Museum is a must, home to the private collection of the ambassador of Moncalvo, Franco Montanari, a precious gallery with works by Guttuso, de Chirico, Chagall and three masterpieces by Orsola Maddalena Caccia. Lunch at leisure in one of the characteristic taverns of the center.
In October, the town center transforms into the colorful Fiera del Tartufo Bianco (White Truffle Fair) with stalls and tastings dedicated to the king of the kitchen, the Tuber Magnatum Picum, and your visit will become a unique sensory experience.
In the afternoon, transfer to Portacomaro, the town of origin of Pope Francis’
family.

Day 3

After breakfast, pick up your e-bikes and set off on a tour through the hills along quiet, back roads to enjoy the spectacular views of the vineyard-covered hills.
Stop at a local farm for a picnic with your bundle, grandma's tablecloth tied with a nice knot and filled with delicacies to enjoy among the hazelnut groves and vineyards.
The final stretch by e-bike will take you to discover the largest vineyard amphitheater in the area, 100 hectares of vineyards to explore.
Return to Portacomaro, free dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4

A day dedicated to the UNESCO Infernos and the sea! Yes, you read that right: a self-guided itinerary following the fossils of the TerrEmerse project. An artistic project created by a young Monferrato sculptor, Giorgia Sanlorenzo, who has created a series of sculptural installations contextualized within the landscape. The iron sculptures depict fish, fossils, and shells that once swam in the Monferrato sea and have now returned, or rather, resurfaced. More than 20 installations to discover on your own or on a Vespa, zigzagging through the hills (pickup in Grana).
Free lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Belvedere Inferno in Vignale Monferrato and enjoy a tasting in a scenic winery suspended among the vineyards. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in Portacomaro.

Day 5

Short transfer to Fubine: visit the spectacular municipal infernot and the Bricherasio Chapel with sculptures by Leonardo Bistolfi.
