Day 1

Journey in the bee house, Naturopathy workshop and Natural Cosmetics, Soap workshop

This is a practical and experiential workshop where participants will learn the principal uses of medicinal herbs which will be picked together and processed to produce oils, creams and ointments, lip balms, toothpastes, etc... It is an experience which allows us to immerse ourselves directly into nature to extract its products which are easy to produce independently for our cosmetics and health. It will not be a course of passive assistance in the preparations, but rather all the knowledge acquired will be put into practice. Each recipe and preparation, thanks to the simplicity and ease with which the ingredients are found, can be easily repeated at home in the kitchen, saving economically and benefitting our beauty and health. The basics of soap making will also be introduced alongside the experimentation of processes which lead to the finished product. Lunch based on company and local products, materials, the preparations made, and the Certificate of participation are all included.
In this workshop, children will have the opportunity of seeing and touching the bee's home in total safety. Very simply, they will be explained all the processes of a bee's life and their fundamental importance for our planet. It will be an interactive workshop where they can learn by playing and having fun. They will be the protagonists, representing the most important moments of a bee’s life. From the care of the hive to its maintenance, to the final process learning how to make the product which the Bees produce for us: Honey, which they will taste. The parents and the guides can take walks in the company grounds, in the nearby trails and in the village (which is a little less than 1 km away) or enjoy a few hours of healthy relaxation in the company spaces as they sip one of our herbal teas.
