Day 1

Arrive in San Desiderio. A tutto miele, an educational activity designed to allow children (and others) to learn about the world of bees and the production of honey. This workshop includes different phases designed to make participants aware of sustainability and stimulate the curiosity in nature and beekeeping: introduction to bees, visit apiary with observation of beehives (under the supervision of an expert and in total safety), honey extraction and the tasting of different types of honey.

Day 2

Relaxing morning by the pool with children and lunch at leisure. Short transfer to Castell'Alfero and activities in a ranch with exotic park: walk with the lamas or the ponies as far as the big tri-colored bench and meet Carolina the cow, Oliver the camel and lots of other animals. Afternoon snack included.
Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.

Day 3

In Portacomaro, "Hazelnut School." After learning all the secrets of Piedmont hazelnuts, children and adults will all make a cocoa and Monferrato hazelnut spread together at the workshop! Using your hands (hazelnuts), a little sugar, and cocoa, you'll make a delicious spreadable cream. After a short and simple preparation, the jar will be packaged, the label decorated... and it's ready to take home!

After lunch, everyone will head to the ecological park to discover Masca Iselda (a good witch) and the tales of the hills. A nature walk between play and sustainability: a nature trail where, accompanied by the marine sculptures of Terremerse, children will collect ingredients to knead and shape to create a small fossil.

Day 4

Another wonderful adventure in nature: what is the tabui? Our tabui is Becks, a young and hairy Lagotto with a super nose to dig out the truffles! Together with Blue, they make an infallible twosome for finding the most famous underground mushroom in the world. And they will be the faithful guardian angels of the little ones. According to the season, it will be possible to pick hazelnuts, acorns, walnuts and juicy grapes, observe the traces of animals in the forest and learn how to recognize the plants and flowers. At the end, snack in winery with tasting of wine/fruit juices.
Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon self-guided tour to hunt for the colorful big benches of the area or the possibility to rent an e-bike for a tour in the hills. In season (September) it is possible to participate in the tourist grape harvest with the collection of grapes and the traditional barefoot grape pressing. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay.
Truffle hunting is stopped for biological reasons by a regulation of the Piedmont Regional Authority in May and October / truffle hunting is always possible in truffle farms and private land.

Day 5

Following breakfast in Fubine underground adventure in the spectacular infernot, a UNESCO heritage site: these mysterious cavities dug by the peasants were used to store food and wine in winter.
To finish, stop off at a mouth-watering artisan chocolate workshop.
