An authentic experience in the wild heart of Valle Bormida along the ridges where you can see the sea, to discover one of the most precious gems of the territory: the truffle. Accompanied by an expert trifolao (truffle hunter) and his inseparable dog, you will walk among silent forests and perfumed trails, learning to recognize the signs of nature and the traditional truffle hunting techniques.
It is more than a walk: it is an ancient rite, of patience, complicity and deep knowledge of the land. Along the way, the trifolao will tell stories, anecdotes and curiosities of this mysterious underground mushroom, while the truffle dog will show all his talent in the hunt.
The experience ends with the visit to the Church of Santa Maria Extra Muros in Millesimo to admire the late Gothic frescoes. Possibility for a small snack or lunch based on truffle (optional and booking required) to complete this sensory journey in Valle Bormida.
From 1 – 31 May and from 1 – 25 September of each year it is forbidden to pick all species of truffles.

Recommended: sportswear - hiking boots or rubber boots
Truffle hunting and extraction is stopped for biological reasons in May and September
The price does not include:
Transfers - truffle-based snack or lunch (price on request)
The truffles found can be purchased at the current market price
